Swimming Pool
The 12x6m swimming pool at Forest Gites is definitely a highlight! It is perfect for a cooling dip or a nice swim from May to October (weather dependant). It is heated when required in the cooler months or when temperatures start to drop in the evenings. However it is perfectly situated to enjoy the sunshine and top up your tan. There is shade under the pergola and plenty of sunbeds for everyone. The pool is open from 9am-9pm daily but is closed overnight for cleaning and to put the cover on to keep the temperature perfect for our guests. Next to the pool in the tall trees are hammocks in the shade, perfectly relaxing to listen to the birds, read a book or have a snooze!.
Games Room
For those rainy days, darker evenings or when its very hot our games room is the perfect place to chill out or engage in some friendly family competition with table tennis, pool table, dart board and table football to enjoy. There is also a projector to watch movies and DVDs with comfy sofas. In the games room you will also find a selection of books and games available for you to use.
Children’s Play Area
Outside there are swings, slides and a play house for the younger members of the family to enjoy. Forest Gites is fully enclosed with electric gates so it is safe for young ones to run and play of course while being considerate of other guests.
Laundry Room
New for 2023 is the communal laundry room next to La Maison Bleue, here you will find a coin operated washing machine for guest use, iron and ironing board and bicycle storage for guest bikes. There are airers and washing lines with pegs available in all the gites for drying washing, swimwear and towels.
